You'll learn every step, from the first drop of milk to the perfectly aged wheel of cheese, and witness the craftsmanship that has been passed down through generations. The tour begins early in the morning, with the recommended start time being 9:00 AM, allowing you to catch the most critical part of the cheesemaking process. In the main production room, you’ll see the copper cauldrons where the milk is transformed into curd, and if you arrive early enough, you’ll witness the exciting moment when the fresh cheese wheels are lifted from the vats. After 9:15 AM, you can still observe the fascinating steps without the live workers and explained by your guide. As the tour progresses, you will observe the separation of whey to the creation of the solid cheese, and the months of patient aging that follow. You’ll pass through the salting and resting rooms, where the cheese wheels absorb the perfect amount of salt for flavor. Finally, the tour leads to the impressive aging warehouse, home to rows upon rows of Parmigiano Reggiano wheels maturing to perfection. Here, you’ll discover the significance of different aging periods—12 months, 24 months, 36 months, and beyond—and why they create distinct textures and flavors. After this informative tour, you'll have the opportunity to savor the fruits of this extraordinary craftsmanship. The day was amazing from start to finish. The activity was a surprise birthday present for my husband and he had a wonderful time. The main Ferrari museum is cram packed full of cars from the newest models right back to the first Ferrari models from the 1930s-40s. The museum was bright and spacious and there was no rushing, we were able to take our time, look at the cars, read about them and take photos. My husband loved the F1 simulator and for an F1 fanatic, it's a must do activity. He could choose which track he wanted to drive and he was shown how to use the controls. The car moved around the bends like the real thing and the screen displayed the lap speeds etc. a lot of fun. Our driver, Alberto, was knowledgeable and helpful. He dropped us off at the door of each museum and was there, waiting for us, when we came out. He made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our day and he was happy to answer our questions.

Luca was amazing !!! He is informative, humorous and very helpful. He provided great insight to everything that was going on. It really helped us to enjoy the whole experience. We highly recommend this activity. We simply enjoyed every moment.

a perfect mix of food, wine, and culture! The visits to the cheese factory, winery, and balsamic vinegar producer were fascinating, and the Ferrari Museum was an exciting bonus. Well-organized, informative, and absolutely worth it!

Great for getting to Maranello which is not easy to do on public transport, takes away all the hassle and the pick up is just outside Modena rail station

It was a great experience for kids and a Ferrari enthusiast.
