What people are saying about Manuel Antonio National Park

Overall rating

4.6
(298 reviews)

This trip exceeded all of my expectations, which were already high. The bus picked us up from our Airbnb without a hitch, and we were transported to the marina where the yacht took off. From there, we were ferried out across the water on a big circle to see the whole coastline of Manuel Antonio National Park. We were let off in an alcove that surrounded a volcanic structure where little fish swam right up to us while we snorkled in clear blue water for well over an hour. Once back on the boat, the staff opened up the water slides and diving board where we all had fun unlocking our childish side to play in the water and enjoy "Yacht Life" while the staff prepared a delicious lunch. All this time, tea, coffee, water, and soft drinks were free and adult beverages were offered by a cash bar. Once satisfied, we set off back to the dock and we were shuttled back where we started. My brother and I agreed this was a trip highlight.

My first time to MA park! I highly recommend getting a tour guide to fully appreciate the biodiversity in this ecosystem. Diego @Diego Nature tours was knowledgeable and great with interesting flora and fauna facts. They have high powered scopes to view and spot elusive animals and can also take photos with your phone. Diego will make your visit much more worthwhile!
