Our guide Javier came in a minibus on time and we joined the group. Being in our late 60's they were mostly half our age giving us concern of our ability to keep up. The climb to the top was hard going with all the steps on the trail. The walkway bridges were everything we expected and loved it, with a maximum of 4 on a bridge it gave us time to catch our breath whilst waiting our turn or when going over first gave us time waiting for the others. The view from the top was disappointing because of haze/mist and you have a very narrow view. Then the downward trek begins to the waterfalls and pools and time for a rest. Although we did not go in the pools is was fun watching the others and regretted not having swim kit with us. Throughout the trek Javier was spotting wildlife, mostly lizards, iguanas, and birds and explaind the trees and vegetation (this also gives resting time). Without our guide we would have missed so much. Worth the money YES we wanted an adventure and we got it.
Was very impressed with our tour guide was very informative
