Meet your guide at the meeting point (Supermarket Joseth, next to Chalo parking, right before the national Park Entrance) and embark on a guided trek along the forest trails. IMPORTANT: this is a guided tour service, national park entrance ticket is not included on this activity. You have to buy it on the only and official website of the national park: https://serviciosenlinea.sinac.go.cr/ Plastic water bottles and food are not allowed to enter the park. In high season (December to April), the entrance tickets get sell out fast. Please buy yours with at least 3 to 7 days of anticipation. In low season (may to November) one day before is good. The national park tickets are purchased by time slot for example from 7:00am to 7:40am, if you don’t find time slot available for our tour, you can buy any other time slot and still enter a different time with us. They are not strict about it. Please arrive 5 or 10 minutes before the tour. Other people in the group don’t have to wait for you, we will wait 10 minutes and then start the activity. After that you can catch up with us on the trail, please be punctual. Our meeting point is outside the closest parking (Parking Chalo), there is no official parking of the national park. All are private and all around $10. It is very easy to get there in public transportation and driving, if you are driving, on the way to our meeting point you will see street vendors trying to stop you to make you park at their place, I recommend the last parking lot Parking Chalo. Meeting point is at the supermarket right before the national park entrance (not the one in front of the beach). This rainforest night tour is operated in the amazing Rainmaker Park. Rainmaker is one of the most important and impressive rainforest ecosystems in Costa Rica, this is where the extinct harlequin frog reappeared and was rediscovered thus becoming an important field of research and scientific studies for herpetologists worldwide. This night walk takes about 2-hours to 2.5-hours and is led by a professional and expert certified guide. During the expedition you may see bats, Jesus Christ lizard, spiders, owls, high varieties of frogs, snakes and many interesting insects. You will use special equipment for the night and a flashlight for a better appreciation during the activity to help you see the jungle life more clearly.

( Tickets for entrance in the national park are not included) The activity is basically an easy hiking less than 1.2 miles but we need to go slow because the animals are very well camouflaged, like sloths, lizards, snakes, birds. I bring my own optics gadgets to find the animals, also I can help you to take the pictures and videos the much as you want, always I’ll try it with the best quality ever. We spend almost 2 hours walking, we gonna stop in the cafeteria for a little break and then we gonna finish at the beach, because we never know what we can find, then you’ll be totally free to explore the national park by your own.

Get picked up from your hotel in Manuel Antonio or Quepos and set off for the Rainmaker Park. Begin your experience with a walk through the rainforest in search of all kinds of native birds, insects, and amphibians. Then, cross over a network of suspension bridges through the mountains that hang above the primary forest. Hike to the top of the mountain, for the opportunity to marvel at an incredible view of the sea. After this, continue to walk along the trail network until you arrive at the Canopy Bridge system section - a network of suspension bridges, built to U.S. engineering standards. The 6 sections total 250 meters, spanning from platforms attached to massive hardwood trees to create the most impressive canopy walk in Costa Rica. The design permits minimal forest impact, giving participants an opportunity to explore the majesty of the forest canopy from an unobtrusive bird's eye view. Gaze down at the jungle below and admire views of the beautiful pristine river of Rainmaker Park. Use the handrails and easy-to-follow footpaths, making stops at the observation platforms that allow you to observe the waterfalls. Capture incredible photographs of the rich biodiversity this unique site has to offer. Towards the end of this walk, arrive at a pristine waterfall pool where you are welcome to enjoy a refreshing dip. Finally, get transferred back to your hotel in Manuel Antonio or Quepos where your memorable tour will finish.

This is a night walk in a tropical humid forest reserve near Manuel Antonio national park. The national park of Manuel Antonio is closed at 4:00 pm and there is no night tours there. You will go with a local expert tour guide showing you all the nocturnal activity here. Very important to bring closed shoes (tennis shoes, hiking boots) if you come in sandals we won’t be able to take you in the tour since we are walking in a jungle at night. Is a two hour walk with entrance fee, transportation if needed and certified tour guide included. All the pictures you see in the page are taken on this tour. Your guide will take amazing pictures and will share them all to you by email or Airdrop. This activity is a must do if you want to see all the creatures coming out at night that are impossible to find in the day. And sometimes some animals that are active in the day you can find them sleeping already, all this with a naturalist interpreter.
