Hear about the 2020 eruption which emitted ashes reaching all the way to Manila, and during which 150,000 people had to flee. Since this event, Taal is considered the country's most active complex volcano.

See the steaming volcano up close from your boat, and take in dramatic views of Taal Lake and Volcano Island from the ridges of Tagaytay City before going back to your hotel.

We had the most enjoyable day and at first enjoyed spectacular views over volcano. This was followed by a 2h boat ride around the caldera with 360 degrees tour around that we enjoyed very much. Our guide tour was very friendly and accommodating, ready to share his knowledge about all the sites that we visited and culture. We highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide, Allen, was very friendly and courteous, and very knowledgeable about the local area and history. The boat ride around the volcano was about two hours long, and quite enjoyable as well. Allen was kind enough to provide hot coffee before the ride and a fresh, hot Buko pie afterwards, as well as taking us to a scenic overview of the lake, where gifts and souvenirs were available for purchase. All in all a most enjoyable and memorable tour.
