My group and I enjoyed the MOIC. We went for my daughters 17th b-day. It was very interactive. Every room was bright and colorful and had something interesting to offer. We took pictures in every room. And each room was very different from the next. Most of the rooms had ice cream samples to offer, but we went during the pandemic and we had ice cream only once. But I understood because we weren't allowed to take our mask off for any reason. The one icecream sample we had we had to step outdoors to eat it.
I explored the 5th and part of the 4th floor. I spent about 2 hours exploring so I would go back to see more but wish I could reuse my ticket being that the cost was $25. This Museum is huge much bigger than I anticipated. Also I didn't use the Get Your Guide and I feel as though $25 should be lower especially if a Family is involved. I'm quite sure this Museum gets a lot of donations.... from the elite.
Tight security before getting to the ferry is good and a necessity. Even if you’re scheduled at a certain time, its not being followed as long as you have guaranteed tickets. If works for my group since some came late and got lost. Only problem, they don’t provide parking garage. Extra expense to pay parking especially if the tour takes like 2 to 3 hours.
Love it, the only thing is that I miss the boat at 11 but catch it at 12, and it was because of missing info. Y’all have to notice people that they should go to the Clinton Castle.
Daniel was very nice and knowledgeable. Small crowds due to COVID so we were able to enjoy without worrying. Everyone wore face masks.
