- Punctual collection at the hotel. I was the only guest that day and was able to enjoy a private tour. - I recommend wearing trekking sandals or flip-flops as shoes and socks have to be taken off at almost all sights - For lunch we stopped in a restaurant in Sagging. The restaurant was visited by many tourists. The food was good and reasonably priced. (Pasta with vegetables and chicken strips and 2 papaya juices for just under $ 4) - I omitted the "Yadanar Semi" and "Bagaya Monastery" in Ava because the price for the horse-drawn carriage needed to get there with 15,000 kyat ($ 10) was exorbitantly high in my eyes. After consulting the guide, this was not a problem. The only small minus point, which is why there were no 5 stars: - My driver only spoke poor English. I was just unlucky. With "hands and feet" and simple questions, the communication worked.

The tour was well put together, you can see a lot on that day. The driver was reliable and friendly. The information in the brochure received is very scarce, so it is advisable to have your own literature with you. I would book it again.

I had an amazing day provided by Royal Gold Myanmar. My guide picked me at my hotel in Mandalay and took me to all the main attractions. Along the way he could explain a bit more of Myanmar habits and culture. WE
