Really enjoyable my Sons knew a lot more about Football than I did but it was really good to see the history & see all the old Football pictures. Staff were all very friendly & Frank from the Gift Shop was so lovely polite & friendly. Also our ticket is valid for a year so we can go back bargain for £15.

Full description

Your ticket includes a single-use admission to all four floors of the museum for a self-guided visit. On the ground floor, see the various trophies and enjoy the latest pop-up art exhibition. Level 1 is where you'll discover the must-see memorabilia — look out for the trophy won by England in 1966. You'll also uncover some fascinating history, like in England on the World Stage, which looks at the ups and downs of the England team.

Level 1 is the meeting point for guided tours, and you can join these free tours at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm. 1:30pm. 2:30pm, 3:30pm as part of your ticket. On Level 2, you'll find all the interactive challenges including Penalty Shootout. Temporary exhibitions on Level 3 change twice a year and take an in-depth look at soccer through art, photography, and technology.

  • The museum closes at 5:00 PM but the last admissions are 4:00 PM
  • Guided tours are included in the price and are available on a first-come-first-served basis (except for pre-booked groups) and take place at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Guided tours are optional and take approximately 40 minutes.
  • If you are a City of Manchester taxpayer you can enjoy free admission to the museum
  • Please note, children under 18 must be accompaned by an adult.
