From Manchester: North Wales, Snowdonia, and Chester Tour

1. From Manchester: North Wales, Snowdonia, and Chester Tour

The tour leaves Manchester in the morning and heads straight for the border of Wales. Conwy is the first stop of the day, one of most picture-perfect harbor towns in the world. Here you can see a castle perched by the sea, the world's smallest house, and lots of cute restaurants serving up the best fish and chips. Venture along the winding, scenic roads of the Snowdonia National Park before arriving in Betws-Y-Coed. This quaint town is known as the gateway to Snowdonia and is famous for its alpine trees and cosy cafes. Chester is your next stop. This is one of England’s most historic towns and there is plenty to do here. It's advised to go straight to the ancient cathedral and learn about its remarkable past.

Alternatively, each person can purchase their own ticket. You can play as a group and solve the clues together as you walk, or you can split into smaller groups/teams and compete against the others. Each person can also play on their own, separate from the group, and meet the group at the end.

What people are saying about Manchester

One of my best country side road trips. Beautiful scenery and history these sites have to offer. Darren made it even more exciting, loved the way he handled this whole trip, being patient with us tourists. Loved the way he gives us an overview of the trip and later recaps the journey on way back. If I was here longer would sign on for more such experiences.

We had a brilliant tour visiting villages in wales throughout the Snowdonia national park and quaint little spots. We were given plenty of time to see places and the day was spaced out well. We traveled in a comfortable 16 seated Mercedes’ bus and had an excellent tour guide

Can't even describe this great tour. Derren is absolutely incredible guide! Funny, intusiastic, have lots of knolage of the area. Really one of the best guides I've ever seen. Amazing.
