Enjoy a full-day tour from Manaus to the “Meeting of Waters” – the confluence between the Rio Negro and the Rio Solimões. Hike through the jungle at Janauri Ecological Park, visit an indigenous tribe, and swim with pink river dolphins.
What to Expect
On this full-day tour you will cruise in a comfortable speedboat to the “Meeting of Waters” where the Rio Negro and the Rio Solimões flow next to one another for miles without mixing. After the pick-up in Manaus, you will transfer to the port and begin the boat tour. You will cruise past the Meeting of Waters to Janauri Ecological Park, where you will hike through the jungle and see huge Samaúma trees, giant water lilies, monkeys, birds, and alligators.
After lunch in a floating restaurant, you will take a boat tour to Tupé beach. Here you can visit the indigenous community, and the Dessano tribe will present their tribal dances. You will then head further up the river near the Anavilhanas Archipelago, the second largest sweet water archipelago in the world with over 400 islands. Here you can swim with the famous pink river dolphins before returning to Manaus by 17:00.
