Full description
Located in the north of Brazil, Manaus is the capital of the Amazon. It is one of the most important places of departure to explore the Amazon Rainforest, the world’s richest and most-varied biological reservoir, and contains several million species of insects, plants, birds, and other forms of life. After pick-up from your hotel in Manaus, the tour will visit some important landmarks in the city, such as The Amazon Opera House (also known as The Amazon Theatre). Inaugurated in 1896, it is a historical landmark that currently accommodates the Amazonas Philharmonic and plays host to the annual Amazonas Opera Festival. The Indian Museum is the biggest museum of Brazilian indigenous history and houses more than 3,000 pieces made by Amazonian tribes.
