Visit several natural landmarks, experience the local way of life, get to know the most important ecosystem in the world, the Amazon Rainforest, and understand a little bit more about the culture, history, and lifestyle of this region on your Amazonian adventure. Day – 1 Get picked up from your hotel and transferred to the Manaus port where you will board your boat. First, head to the famous Meeting of Waters about 20 kilometers downstream. From there, travel onwards to January Lake traveling through one of the many streams that can be found in the region.  Enjoy lunch on board and then go for a short hike to see the water-lilies. Leave in a smaller boat to fish for piranha and spot some cayman when it gets dark. Afterward, return to the main boat and travel upriver to Jaraqui, where you will spend the night on board. Day – 2 Rise at dawn to see the sunrise, and maybe even spot some local birds and river dolphins. Breakfast will be served when you get back to the boat. Then, head off on a hike through the jungle, where you will learn about local flora and fauna and some medicinal plants from your guide. After a 2.5-hour walk, return to the main boat for lunch. Then, make your way to the Anavilhanas Archipel. In the afternoon, get a closer look at the archipelagos and see some local wildlife, such as birds and monkeys. Once back on board, travel downstream to your resting place for the night. Day – 3 Enjoy breakfast on board as the boat travels downstream towards an indigenous community territory where you will be greeted with a welcome dance before having a tour of the land. Then enjoy the opportunity to swim with dolphins before being served lunch once back on board. Make your way back to Manaus in the afternoon where a driver will be waiting to transport you back to your hotel or the airport. If you have chosen the 4-day option, visit a local family's house in the morning and get to know a little more about their lifestyle and learn about the manioc making process. Camp in the jungle overnight.  Day – 4 Early in the morning, enjoy another hike in the jungle as you learn more about the Amazon Rainforest from your guide. Once back on the boat, enjoy breakfast on board as the boat travels downstream towards an indigenous community territory where you will be greeted with a welcome dance before having a tour of the land. Then enjoy the opportunity to swim with dolphins before being served lunch once back on board. Make your way back to Manaus in the afternoon where a driver will be waiting to transport you back to your hotel or the airport.
