Go on a 4-day jungle adventure exploring the Amazon, the largest tropical rainforest and river basin in the world, which spans the borders of 8 countries. Experience this unique biological wonder and the diverse nature and creatures within it.
What to Expect
Spend 4 days in the Amazon, the world’s largest river basin and the source of one-fifth of all free-flowing fresh water on Earth. Its rainforests are the planet’s largest and most luxuriant, and home to – amazingly – 1 in 10 known species on Earth.
On this jungle adventure, you will experience a diverse array of activities, including canoeing, camping, fishing, boating, and spending time with indigenous families. Hike along the diverse topography and next to meandering rivers and take in the beauty of the nature. Be prepared to have many animal encounters as well, as the Amazon sustains the world’s richest diversity of birds, freshwater fish, and butterflies.
Less commonly seen are the larger animals that hide in the jungle's trees, soar in its skies, or swim in its waters. One of the world’s last refuges for jaguars, harpy eagles, and pink dolphins, its thousands of tree species are home to southern two-toed sloths, pygmy marmosets, saddleback and emperor tamarins, and Goeldi’s monkeys.

At this point in the expedition, our experienced jungle guide will show you all you need to know about extracting everything that is needed from the rainforest without destroying it.
