Full description

Discover a hidden gem in Manarola and taste the world-famous Cinque Terre wines. Try 3 different varieties while tasting local delicacies and learn about the history and tradition behind the wine-making processes.

Visit a former wine cellar located in the center of Manarola, near the little harbor. Completely renovated, the Bar-Enoteca is a place where people meet, drink wine, listen to good music – sometimes live – and enjoy delicious local food.

Here you’ll try three exceptional varieties of local wine. First, the Cinque Terre white wine DOC, followed by a Cinque Terre red wine IGT, and finally a tasting of the famous Sciacchetrà, the sweet wine known around the world. The wine tasting will be accompanied by some light snacks. You’ll enjoy an evening of taste and culture in a region famous for it.

Gabriel was very informative and had so many great stories. The wine was delicious and the food to pair with them was fantastic and plentiful. a fantastic experience. It was in a busy bar so at times felt difficult to fully understand everything being said but at the same time it was a great vibe so that is down to personal preference.

We enjoyed our wine tasting very much! Gabriel was a great host, and has a lovely restaurant. We got tasty appetizers with our wine, which was unexpected. The wine was very good and we enjoyed learning about the local wine and Gabriel’s family. We definitely recommend this tour as we thought it was a great value and a lovely way to spend an hour or so in the lovely town of Manarola.
