    Embark on a guided tour through the vibrant streets of Valletta will allow you to discover the beauty and charm of the capital city of Malta - a fortified city built by the Knights of St. John in 1566.

    Admire imposing fortifications and bastions, amazing baroque palaces, marvelous churches, gorgeous gardens, and beautiful architecture ranging from mid-16th century baroque to modernism, Walk through the bustling streets of the city and discover its distinctive architecture. Visit the Upper Barrakka Gardens where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Grand Harbour. Afterward, some of the members of the group will have a guided tour of the Co-Cathedral dedicated to St. John the Baptist, whereas some will have some extra free time to roam around the streets of Valletta. The group then meets again at a designated time and place and proceed toward Republic Street. Before the end of the tour, enjoy an audio-visual show, which tells the dramatic story of the islands’ 7000-year history. Educational, informative, and entertaining, the show runs through the turbulent history of a small island nation that has overcome almost unimaginable odds to survive and prosper.

    This tour was a great intro to Valletta. Well probably return within the week to spend some more time there. Check your pick up times as we thought it was 8. The info is there for individual hotel pick up times on the app. Rob really was a great guide and handled everyone's individual request. 5 STAR. We had enough time to grab a pastizzi and espresso at cafe cordina. Delish! Highly recommend

    Hannah was very knowledgeable and the route was well chosen. She coped admirably with the two languages (English and German) tirelessly doubling up the talk time. We benefited from that, as we both speak both languages, so if we had missed something in the one, we got it back in the second! The indoor tours were well equipped with us each having a mobile-phone sized speaker, so that she could talk in an hushed tone e.g. inside the cathedral and we were not interrupted by the numerous other guided groups' guides.
