Full description

Travel from Malta to the second largest island of the Maltese archipelago, the island of Gozo, on this full-day excursion. Start with a 20-minute ferry crossing to Gozo and discover the many fascinating historical events and legends that have shaped the island of Gozo. One legend has it that Odysseus spent 7 years living on the large island. Go to the Ggantija Temples in Xaghra, UNESCO World Heritage Sites that have a history of more than 5,500 years. Afterwards, head toward the Citadel in Rabat, the historical capital of the island. Take in Dwejra, one of the most photographed spots of the Maltese Islands, before discovering the picturesque fishing village of Xlendi. After a day full of experiences, take a short ferry crossing back to Malta and return to your hotel.

It would be good to not wait too long after hotel pick up at the ferry station to get the tour started and also in terms of lunch it would be great if people could have more options or pay the difference if option is not on the set menu

Food was slightly rushed, I think I buffet option would suit better given the amount of people and time. Day was enjoyable, educational and a new experience for us. We had a great view from the citadel and the tour speakers are very helpful. Please do check junk spam emails as sometimes the pick up times change, but they do send communication through.

I start with the organizational part: this was pretty good. We picked up from corinthia hotel just in time and all other spots too. The guide and driver were excellent. It was a German guided tour. It was a bit disappointed that we were always In a rush. At some and from my point of view most interesting places we only had 20 Minutes. This must be organized better. Because the last stop - most uninteresting part - we spent nearly one hour.
