Full description
Enjoy a scenic half-day tour of Malta and get fantastic views from the island’s highest point. Visit the historic Palazzo Falson in Mdina, and wander around Buskett Gardens on the grounds of Verdala Palace. Your first stop is Palazzo Falson, a medieval townhouse in Mdina. There, explore a house-museum with seventeen rooms of historic domestic belongings and a number of antique collections. Admire a building that's believed to have been built around 1495, probably incorporating parts of a 13th-century building, and further enlarged in the mid-16th century Next, drive to Dingli Cliffs, the highest point in Malta. The isolated Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene on the towering rocks makes for a charming landmark. Built in the 17th century, the chapel offers some of the most stunning views in Malta, including to the tiny uninhabited islet of Filfla. Your final stop will be Buskett Gardens in the fertile valley of Wied il-Luq at Siggiewi. At their best in spring, the gardens also offer shade from the harsh mid-summer sun and a quiet place for a walk in winter. Explore the beautiful gardens, located in the grounds of Verdala Palace, official residence of the President of Malta. During the scenic tour, you will also pause for coffee, when you will get the chance to sample some of Malta’s traditional pastizzi, diamond-shaped savory pastries, often filled with ricotta.

Nice tour with again a small group (6). Pick-up location was still a thing for a while, but after the necessary e-mails, it turned out okay. Great driver in the person of David and nice guide Mark. You come out of the Vintage Bus fairly dented, but that shouldn't spoil the fun

It was great to drive the classic car bus, but it was not the old commercial coach from Malta shown in the advertising, but an old Morris from 1930. The bus is narrow and uncomfortable - just a classic car! The palazzo was nice and so was the Dingli cliffs. The German / English guide was nice.

A nice ride to the inland of Malta

We had a very original trip to Malta's past. Beginning from the old type bus we used, which by itself returned the year decades earlier, we visited Villa Parisio (I write villa because it had never actually served to host a royalty). The explanations were very detailed and we took all our time to explore the villa. Afterwards we had a spectacular view to the open sea from Ste Magdalene's church (Malta's highest point). After our guide's recommendation I tried the aromatic maltese coffee, thus becomming fan of it eversince. At a nice multiple purpose hall in the forest we were offered pastici (both with cheese and peas) and after our guide's recommendation again, I tried the Kinnie, thus becomming addicted to it.
