Full description

Explore the beautiful Comino Island and the surroundings on a day tour by boat. Discover the Ahrax Cave, Santa Maria Cave, and other famous sights before swimming or snorkeling in the clear waters of the Blue Lagoon.

You will depart from the Bugibba Jetty and begin your cruise along the northern coast of Malta. Pass by all of the sights including St. Pauls Islands and the statue of St. Pauls, and Anthrax Point. Continue cruising through the north channel of Comino as you pass by the elephants' head, Santa Maria Bay, St. Nicholas Bay, and the Comino hotel.

Make quick stops to enter both Ahrax Cave and Santa Maria Cave. Throughout the journey, Captain Kevin will inform you about the sites and give you information regarding Malta. After approximately 1 hour, arrive on Comino island in the famous Blue Lagoon. The boat will moor up and you can enjoy a stop of 4.5 hours.

During the journey, feel free to use all the facilities on board the boat or get off and explore the island. Relax and sunbathe on the top deck or find some shade on the main deck. Take a refreshing plunge into the cool, crystal-clear water.

Take advantage of male and female toilet facilities, lockers, and the cafeteria which serves hot and cold beverages. At the end of your time in Comino, head off to the island of Gozo without stopping.

We took advantage of the hornblower cruise in November (late season). the captain and his staff were all accessible and available to the participants. The cruise was very suitable for our 5 year old daughter. We were very few tourists and we were all able to have a deckchair on the upper deck. The weather in November has nothing to envy to that of spring, a breathtaking day and crazy landscapes. The slide is very very fun and you can even jump from the top of the boat. It was really a great day

Absolutely excellent day! The boat left at 10am, but we got there earlier (about 8:45) to get a good seat on the sun loungers on the top deck. This was crucial and really made the whole day spectacular. The music on board was brilliant - really added to the experience and they played all sorts of music, some real classics too! Everyone was vibing and it was great. The drinks, snacks and other various things on board were really reasonably priced and there was a lot of variation, so everyone had an option to suit them. Once we got to Comino, the slide came out and that was really fun! Straight in to a lovely quiet area of the Blue Lagoon where it was just us from the boat and the Hornblower had its own designated docking spot. The captain was brilliant, funny and really engaging with the people on board. We came back to the boat to tag along with those that were going to Gozo. It was a short 20-25 min trip but was lovely to see. Overall, it was amazing and we will go again!
