Full description
On your trip to Mallorca, don't miss this visit to the Caves of Drach, located in the town of Manacor. After being picked up, you'll head straight to the Caves. These caves are an absolute wonder - formed millions of years ago by the water pressure of the Mediterranean sea, the Caves of Drach comprise four separate and gigantic caves full of impressive stalagmites and stalactites. The most interesting attraction of these caves is their 177-meter-long underwater lake, known as Lake Martel. While inside the caves, admire a light show synchronized with the melodies of a small orchestra, and be enchanted by the beauty that nature can create out of itself only with the passage of time. Finish your visit with a stop at an exhibition on Manacor's pearl farming industry - learn all about the manufacturing process of these classic gems. Or, if you choose the full-day option, continue your day with a visit to the Caves del Hams, famous for its fish-hook shaped stalactites and stalagmites - the cause of their unique shape is still unknown! Then, finish off your full-day tour with a visit to the beautiful Porto Cristo, on the eastern coast of the island.

The guide was entertaining and did a job explaining everything in 3 languages. The caves are beautiful and definitely worth visiting. The only thing we didn't like was that the group was too large which made it very difficult to keep a safe distance, it felt crowded several times. It would have been a lot better to break into 2 groups.

There was no problem with the pick up , 15 mins late but that is the usual with trips. The caves were stunning, the concert was so beautiful. There was a big queue for the boat which only takes you about 100 yards but it is nice. Outside there is no time to get any food and drink its straight back on the bus. All in all it was a nice morning out and I recommend it.

A great way to spend a half a day

Overall a really nice trip to the caves. Breath-taking views and certainly a beautiful concert at the end. Perhaps too crowded, and people were being rushed to move forward all the time, but I suppose that is just like with any other popular location. In terms of cons, this is for the organizers: 1. It's fantastic that your guide Sebastian knows (or at least learned by heart) so many languages, but believe me when I tell you - it is freaking exhausting to listen to the same stuff being told in 5 languages on the already exhausting bus trip to the caves. Simply not necessary. I'd say, stick to Spanish and English, most will understand. Better yet - produce some proper flyers - you won't need to bother blabbering all the way, and passengers won't be annoyed. 2. No one cares for the fancy houses of Mallorca famous sportsmen. Talk about the caves! 3. No one cares for the silly pearl shop. Clearly some money agreement with you and them. I'd rather spend that extra time at the caves!
