The cathedral is an amazing building - just sitting in the main section and looking around will leave an impression of the scale and beauty of the building. I would highly recommend the audio guide that is available, it gives a compelling account of the stories behind the church and its design (the hat of the anti-pope is a very cool tale that makes you look at the chapter houses with fresh eyes). Highly recommended.

Amazing experience. We truly were in awe of the dedication, craft, ingenuity and skill that went into the creation of the various structures and artefacts, representing islanders' faith from centuries past. Whether you are religious or not (I'm not a person of faith), the Cathedral encapsulates the sheer scale and grandeur of Catholic ideals, belief and worship. It is an architectural masterpiece and was a deeply moving experience.

Palma Cathedral, officially known as the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma or "La Seu", is a breathtaking example of Gothic architecture infused with elements of the Catalan Modernisme and Noucentisme styles. Its towering structure is a testament to the intricate detail and dedication that went into 400 years of construction, dominating the skyline of Palma, Mallorca. One of the most striking features is its impressive rose window, known as "The Gothic Eye", which boasts the title of one of the largest of the Gothic world. The way the light dances through the stained glass and floods the cathedral interior with a warm spectrum of colors truly captivates your soul. The cathedral's location, set against the azure backdrop of the Mediterranean, provides an enchanting atmosphere that is hard to match. The sea seems to shimmer and echo the beauty of the cathedral, creating an otherworldly vista that takes one's breath away. In conclusion, Palma Cathedral is an unforgettable experience.
