Malaga boasts pretty streets, leafy boulevards, and lush gardens. See the major attractions of this lovely city with a 24-hour Malaga Essential Experience ticket for a hop-on hop-off sightseeing tour or the Malaga Iconic Ticket which also includes entry to the MIMMA and Carmen Thyseen Museum. With the aid of the tour’s onboard multilingual audio commentary, learn why the Malaga Cathedral is called La Manquita – the one-armed lady! Also, hear all about the old palace fortress and its 2 rings of walls. On the open-top double-decker bus, enjoy panoramic views of the city as well. You can visit the Alcazaba (entry not included), where you’ll find a museum and pleasant gardens along with breathtaking views. While in the vicinity, stop by Castillo de Gibralfaro for a look at the ramparts and more spectacular views. You may want to see the ancient Teatro Romano and the reconstruction work that’s underway. Don’t forget the Picasso Museum, another important attraction in the city of his birth. Also enjoy free access to the Interactive Museum of Music, when an appropriate ticket is selected, where you can tap into your musical prowess, and try your hand at a variety of instruments.

Great way to have an overview of the city. The audio commentary is in multiple languages so no one in the group feels left out. We struggled to find the first stop, and the customer service representatives were willing to help, very responsive and helpful. Our driver Francisco Amaya was knowledgeable, patient and courteous. He explained to us in detail how the tickets work and even gave us a few recommendations. 👍 It was an overall great experience.

This was definitely one of our best Hop-on Hop-off tours in Spain. We puchased the 'Experience Package' wish included the normal HOHO tour plus entry into several museums including Picasso, Music, Automobile, etc and a one hour bout tour. Absolutely lovely! Start early with the first bus or buy a 48 hour pass if you plan to do 1 or more experiences because you just won't be able to fit it all in one day! Stop 1 is at the very modern Malaga train station where you can find quick meals, snacks and clean restrooms.

I booked the hop on hop off bus tickets for my middle aged parents and aunt and they loved it. I was a little disappointed however that some of the lines were not running. I didn’t really feel that we were able to get a lot of use out of our tickets either. We did go in January though. I might recommend younger people to do a walking tour instead as everything in the city center is so close. For people not wanting to walk kilometers, this is a great option.
