You will visit the historic Central Market of Atarazanas de Málaga and the local gastronomy market stalls. With this gastronomic tour, you will enjoy the kindness of the people of Malaga and the culture of Mediterranean food. We will walk through this vibrant market, where your official guide will explain to you about the typical fruits, vegetables, fish and meats of our cuisine. You will enjoy a unique atmosphere while you taste some of the most delicious and interesting products in Malaga. You will try a traditional wine in the tavern of the oldest winery in Malaga that was founded in 1840. And an authentic and delicious paella in a Spanish cuisine restaurant with an unbeatable location, between the Cathedral and the Picasso Museum of Malaga. Share your passion for food with your local guide, as he shares with you the best recipes and his first-hand experience with local flavors and culture.

Includes

  • You will visit with an official guide two historic places of local gastronomy, the market and the oldest tavern in Malaga, and a restaurant with local cuisine:
  • 1) You will learn about the history of traditional wine in the tavern of the oldest winery in Malaga, where we will show you the traditional way of tasting it in Spain since the 19th century, accompanied by some anchovies from the bay of Malaga.
  • 2) Next we will visit the stalls of the Central Atarazanas market in Malaga, where we will taste the best local gastronomy products. Hams, cheeses, nuts, raisins, figs, olives, Iberian products and others. All of excellent quality.
  • 3) And we will walk through the beautiful streets of Malaga, where we will see the Cathedral, the famous Larios street and the Picasso Museum. Until we reach a restaurant specialized in Spanish food, where they will cook us an authentic paella, accompanied by a fresh salad and a drink.
  • Pickup from your hotel in the historic center is not included, but don't worry. Since, we will meet in a central and easy-to-find place, which all Malaga residents know. And also, we will send you the link to the exact address when you make your reservation, so you can find us easily.
  • If you still want us to pick you up at your hotel in the historic center, contact us on the phone number you will receive when making your reservation, and in exchange for a tip your local guide will be happy to pick you up.
