Full description

Discover Moroccan culture and flavors on a day trip from Málaga to Tangier. Take a short ferry ride across the Strait of Gibraltar then enjoy a bus and walking tour of the old city, kasbah, and medina. Haggle for a bargain at a typical Moroccan bazaar and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant,

Depart From Málaga to the port of Tarifa to embark on a 45-minute ferry crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar. Arriving in Tangier, a local guide joins the group to lead the way on your day trip.

Begin a panoramic bus tour, leaving the port and crossing the modern city, and passing the palace of the King of Morocco to reach one of the best viewpoints over the Strait of Gibraltar. From here see the Spanish coast and the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

Arriving in the old city, disembark the bus to visit the kasbah, medina, souks, and a typical Moroccan bazaar, where there is a large range of Moroccan handicrafts on offer. Try your hand at bartering with the locals and pick up a souvenir to remember your Moroccan experience.

After visiting the old city on a walking tour of its narrow streets and squares, enjoy a typical Moroccan lunch and music at a local restaurant. After lunch, return to the port to board the ferry back to Spain, where a bus will be waiting for you to take you back to Malaga.

The experience is very good, since it allows a general review of the city and to know its customs. They go 4 stars and not 5 because of 2 points to improve: being a bilingual tour, it is notorious how they expatiate much more in English than in Spanish, leaving many issues unexplained and the 2nd point is that instead of taking you to specific shops, it would be better if they gave you some time to move around the city and explore the markets well, choosing where to buy.

Extremely good day out with very informative and enthusiastic guides! Had a great, problem free day. Only comment would be that not as much time was available to shop in the markets as expected and things were very expensive to pay for in euros with no opportunity to change currency whilst there. Either take some dirham with you or make sure you push for a good deal, will still be overpriced compared to normal prices for locals though. Be prepared to say no to many people trying to sell you things on the street. Overall had a fantastic day and felt extremely safe even in a small tour group. Lunch was light but tasted nice, mini bus in Morocco and bus in spain were in very good condition and always there when expected to be. Little waiting around time and the guides Ahbie, Joanna & Ahnie (hope I’ve spelt them correctly) really made it a special day to remember forever. Will definitely revisit Morocco, Tanger is a beautiful place!

The tour guides were great. Unfortunately, the tour in Morocco was very scheduled. Everything very fast. No time to do shopping. "Bazar" at the end is very disappointing. Three shops around is called a bazaar. Provisions should be taken with you, as a tip. Despite everything, I'm glad I did the tour and the experience.
