the bus added 40 minutes plus to the trip each way by getting off the expressway twice to pick up a few extra people. so three hours each way from malaga to Gibraltar when it should have been much quicker. it nade the bus trip way too long. recommend you look for a direct malaga to Gibraltar service.

Looking from the reviews we've prepared mentally for a long trip with a lot of stops on the way. We were picked up from Plaza del Lido, Torremolionos at 7:25 h and arrived in Gibraltar at 10h. Bus was stopping a lot to pick up people from the hotels but that was expected. The guides were amazing and informative, guide on the mini bus in Gibraltar had a great sense of humor and made the trip memorable. Once passed through the passport control we had some free time at first and then we had to meet up at around 13h for the tour. We headed back at 15h. Overall it was worth spending that kind of amount for a memorable trip.

The pickup at the hotel was 15 minutes late. The description of the tour should highlight that a considerable part of the entire day involves transportation, including numerous customer pickups at multiple locations / towns along the route before arriving at our ultimate desired destination- Gibraltar. Perhaps an earlier morning departure time will reduce travel time ( outside peak traffic ) and allow more time to enjoy Gibraltar ( rather than taking a bus ride in and out of towns ). The two tour guides ( Stephane on the motor coach and David on the minibus at Gibraltar ) were excellent, providing information about the sites in an entertaining manner. Advance organization of the minibus groups by language would also save time. When registering for the tour one indicates his/her language of choice, so the number of persons by minibus should be known in advance. Hope this is helpful to potential future customers , and is also used by the tour operator to improve the tour.
