Once in a lifetime experience and definitely the best way to visit Caminito del Rey if you don't have transportation. I was checking the millions of excursions offered in getyourguide departing from Málaga and I knew I wanted a small group (I can not stand those big group tours). Travelling in a fast van makes the trip much faster (50 minutes) and from the beginning we were chatting with the rest of the group (8 people). Once in Caminito, you just had to see those big people groups with guides to know that you chose the right one. We were the only small group. The rest of the groups we crossed were 30-50 people. Difficult to enjoy a natural park in that way. Alfonso picked us up in the city center and was very helpful and accommodatin. He was amazing with the explanation, the picnic, the timing, everything. We liked it that much that we booked another hike with him in another natural park. Do not hesitate and book it before it's too late!

What a mass of hysteria at the start of this walk. Due to problems with the radio reception, an official (large) group led by a guide left there too late. And the next big group right after us. It was thanks to our sympathetic guide that this walk turned out to be a beautiful experience. He decided to stop and leave the group behind us. After that we were able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings in reasonable rest. And we got to hear the interesting history about this place.

First of all: the actual goal, i.e. the Camino del Rey, is always worth doing this tour. Everything went well and after almost exactly 6 hours we were back. Our guide Pablo was just great. However, I had booked the small group tour at a higher price. And the ride in a large 50-seater (half occupied) and the group size of 9 people were borderline for me. It would have done the same for 20% less.
