The overall experience was very enjoyable. Th breakfast/coffee break in Ardales was not on the programm (which is why we choose this trip) and in our view not necessary (toilets are available at start of the Caminito). Walk itself was very relaxed. You could either walk on your own or with the guide to hear some extra facts. The drinks break at the end was a bit too long as it was quite chilly to sit in the shade. The trip is not cheap but worth it.

Full description

Admire the beauty of the Gaitanes Gorge on a guided excursion of the Caminito del Rey walkway. Hike a trail suspended 100 meters above the Guadalhorce River.  Relax aboard a spacious bus that'll bring you to the start of the trail and back, and listen to your guide's informative commentary in English and German about the surroundings and the history of the area.  Begin your adventure as you pass through a tunnel that leads to the entrance of the Caminito del Rey trail. Equip yourself with the provided safety helmet before starting your hike. At your own pace, feel the thrill of walking above the Guadalhorce River for approximately 2.5 hours at a gentle pace. Take advantage of plenty of opportunities to snap photos of the unique canyon landscapes or stop for a break. At the end of the hike, reboard the bus and enjoy the ride back to Málaga City or Rincón de la Victoria.

Caminito del Rey is definitely must do! This trip was perfectly planned with all the details. We easily found the pick up point. And it was so worth the price. Our guide Esmeralda is amazing, her vibe, smile, energy! She told us many interesting stories, facts about the trail, nature surroundings and its history. Thanks a lot for this amazing experience.
