In small groups, the tour starts at Enrique García-Herrera Square, in which we will explain the importance of knowing and recognizing the life of people of Malaga, awarded as the number 1 city for live and visit, due to its climate and the kindness of its people, according to the prestigious Forbes newspaper, in addition to its traditions, history, emblematic buildings, corners, gastronomy, artistic expressions, etc.
Then, we will look into the Saint Isabel Passage where we will discover the enormous importance of the Guadalmedina River in the city and stories of shipwrecks and solidarity remembering the Bridge of the Germans or churches and brotherhoods which are essential in the traditional Holy Week of Malaga.
After that, we will carefully visit unique streets of the historic centre of Malaga such as Camas Street, Compañía Street or San Ignacio Square, among others, where you can discover charming corners, not visible to the unattended eye; churches and convents linked to our traditions and beliefs; businesses with more than a hundred years of history; unique architectural elements; spaces to share, ... Next, we will continue our journey through small and intricate streets, heirs of the times of Muslim Malaga, and discover corners and stories linked to the seafaring life of the old Málaga. Moreover, we will admire the facade of some unique buildings of the contemporary era, we will walk towards the tower of the San Juan Church and learn why the Street of the Five Balls is called like that.
Likewise, we will learn first-hand about popular businesses and products linked to our gastronomic and cultural tradition. Finally, our tour finishes at the facade of the Atarazanas Market, where we will understand the distribution of the walls that surrounded the city, the particularities of the market and its top products, the new avant-garde that is manifesting itself, etc.
