Málaga: Museo Picasso Málaga Entry Ticket

2. Málaga: Museo Picasso Málaga Entry Ticket

The Museo Picasso Málaga was created in response to the artist's desire for his work to be exhibited in the city of his birth in 1881. Its realization is thanks to the combined efforts of the artist´s daughter-in-law and grandson, whose donations provide the body of the art collection, and Junta de Andalucía, who arranged an ambitious project devoted to the artist. Located in the Palacio de Buenavista, declared a National Monument in 1939, the Museo Picasso Málaga opened in the heart of Málaga in 2003. The building boasts a harmonic mix of Renaissance and Mudéjar elements and serene contemporary lines. Phoenician, Roman, and Arabic ruins can be found on the underground floor. This ticket provides access to the permanent collection containing examples of Picasso's revolutionary innovations. See paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, and graphic work, from his first academic studies to his personal Neoclassical perspective. This was such a great trip and very well organised. The tour in Ronda was especially good as the Guide (Gemma) was a local and was able to speak with real knowledge. Her language skills were superb and her passion and enthusiasm was infectious. Just the right amount of free time before moving onto Setenil and again this was very relaxed. The coach was modern and the journey times were as described. Great value and highly recommended!

After quite a lot of rain in Málaga the sun came out it was nice and warm and stayed like that for the whole cruise from 6pm. The crew were very good professional and fun. Great to see Málaga from the sea. Excellent value for money.

Had a really lovely day. Bella and Gemma the guides were both lovely and very knowledgeable. They helped us make the most of our time in Ronda and Setenil despite some really awful rainy weather. Would highly recommend.
