Visit UNESCO-listed Malacca on a day trip from Kuala Lumpur. See where Malaysia began on the Straits of Malacca. Gaze upon the ruins of St. Paul’s Church (closed every Monday) and Red Square (Christ Church closed every Monday), the pink Dutch administrative buildings that now house the Malacca Museum and government offices. Enjoy authentic local food at lunch. Afterward, see the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, where 3 major doctrines of Chinese belief are worshiped under the same roof. Take a stroll along Malacca’s Jonker Street, which ends by the banks of the Malacca River. Learn about the Malay sultanate, Malacca’s rise as an important trading port and the Portuguese and Dutch influence from the early 16th century.

Bus is comfortable with air conditioning. Guided tour was through main places in center, (although I don't think there was much left). Lunch with 5 different dishes of Chinese-Malaysian cuisine, but only tea was included as drinks, others - to be paid extra. On my travel day (Monday) St Peters Church and Maritime Museum were closed. We got into a traffic jam on the way back, so the way back took twice as long as the way there. In short: a good tour for a 1 day visit to Malacca. I would need more time in Malacca alone (2-3 days)

Our guide Amar Singh put a lot of effort into bringing us closer to the city of Melaka and the history behind it. We were able to find out all the interesting information about the city and its past. Lunch was okay. All in all, a super successful trip!

It was a very pleasant journey from start to finish. The tour guide was so lovely and kind, and had a wealth of knowledge in taking us through the history of Melaka. The coach journey was also super comfortable and the driver did a great job. It was a lovely day overall and would recommend this to anyone who is looking to go - don't second guess it and book today!!
