The adventure starts and ends at the stunning Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões, nestled in the northeastern part of São Miguel Island. Upon arrival, we'll welcome you and distribute all necessary canyoning equipment. Before we begin, you'll receive a comprehensive briefing about the activity and safety procedures to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone. Our adventure kicks off with a gentle walk through the lush, green landscape of the park, surrounded by diverse vegetation, clear waterfalls, and historical water mills. After a short 15-minute walk, we reach our first stop where the real fun begins. We will ascend a short path for another safety briefing and a demonstration of rappelling techniques. The canyoning descent features six magnificent waterfalls along the stream. You'll experience a mix of rappelling, slides, toboggans, and jumps, making it a perfect combination of fun and adventure! The highest waterfall you'll rappel down is 8 meters, and there are playful areas with slides and jumps of up to 5 meters, all optional to cater to different comfort levels.
