Explore the Blue Bay Marine Park by glass-bottom boat and snorkeling in the largest marine life and coral reserve in Mauritius, including a relaxing picnic on Ile des deux Cocos. Start your excursion from the Blue Bay Public Beach and float down the seaside from Point d´Esny in the direction of Ile aux Aigrettes for your first opportunity to snorkel in the lagoon.Then, head to the Ile des deux Cocos private island for lunch. Relax on one of the public beaches with a Creole picnic. Choose between a traditional Creole meal with fish or chicken or enjoy the vegetarian option and a large variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks — don’t skip the famous Jungle Cocktail.   After lunch, relax on the beach and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then, the crew will pick you up and take you to the marine park, where you’ll have another opportunity to snorkel among the fish and coral before heading back to the starting point.

Greeted at meeting point which is easy to locate and with no hassle. We had a Superb half day out, 4 hours (for us) being just the right time frame for this activity. Captain and his 1st mate were excellent. Both were very friendly and helpful during the trip. The Captain was a great tour guide and gave a very informative, lighthearted and humorous narration during the trip. He had a good knowledge of the island and reef, and answered many questions without hesitation. We boated to 2 excellent locations for snorkelling and saw beautiful coral formations, many varied fish and a turtle! The captain had uncanny awareness of the favourite hiding places. Our beach picnic halfway through gave us time to relax and recharge. The meal provided was very tasty and we had a nice vegetarian option. There were plenty of different drinks available (and while onboard) definitely try the “jungle juice” ! Overall I would highly rate the trip and recommend without hesitation.
