Lewis and his friends along the famous Addison's path where they strolled on many midsummer evenings to discuss their ideas. As well as the colleges, your knowledgeable guide will take you on a route through the city of Oxford to take in many famous sights. Visit inside St. Mary's University Church where C.S. This tour caters to bespoke interests made known by you such as for example Oxford writers. However, its primary focus is to introduce some of the best gems of Oxford university college gardens. Which colleges we'll visit will vary by what's open from one day to the next but generally we will visit inside the walled gardens of colleges like Exeter, St Johns and or Balliol. The option also exists to include entry to either the Botanical gardens or to Magdalen college but that requires paying separate entry fee worth £9 to Magdalen on the day. Magdalen alone needs up to 45 minutes to see its expansive gardens, medieval cloister, dining hall or river side cafe and its deep park. We will introduce famous alumni, student life and traditions. Plus we will discuss Charles Daubeny's contribution to botany.
