This may be predominately residents and masks must be worn, hands sanitized, and keep as much of a distance as possible. Public transport must not be used by travelers leaving the airport as they will not be able to provide contact tracing upon their departure. Bosnia and Herzegovina

Brazil

Yes, Brazil has opened its borders for foreign travelers. Americans entering Brazil by air, for a short stay of up to 90 days, need to present the proof of their health insurance, in English or Portuguese. The health insurance should have a minimum coverage of 30,000 Brazilian reais and be valid in Brazil for the entire period of the trip. The entry of foreign visitors traveling by air is currently permitted. Commercial flights between the United States and Brazil are currently operating and have increased in frequency. Some states still haven’t opened airports to foreign nationals: Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraiba, Rondonia, Rio Grande do Sul and Tocantins. There are restrictions on non-resident foreign nationals entering by land or sea.

Residents of California will be able to enter Costa Rica as of October 1. American travelers need to present their valid driver’s license or State ID Cards in order to demonstrate that they are residents of one of the authorized states mentioned above.

Yes, U.S. citizens with permanent or temporary Costa Rican residency must complete a 14-day quarantine, unless one of these three scenarios apply: 1 – The traveler is arriving from one of the designated departure points mentioned above; 2 – The traveler has proof of stay for the past 14 days at that departure point; 3 – The traveler carries a negative COVID-19 test (PCR-RT) taken no more than 72 hours prior to their flight to Costa Rica.

Croatia

No, unless you do not have proof of a negative PCR test upon entering Croatia. In this case, placement in quarantine for 14 days is mandatory and the expenses should be covered by the travelers.

Yes, the test should not be older than 48 hours from the time of taking the swab until the arrival at the border crossing. Same rule applies to visitors traveling by yacht. If the test is older than 48 hours, the travelers will be tested again locally, at their own expense, and will be self-isolated until the new results arrive. A local test cost ranges from $130 to $300 or more, depending upon the location, and the result will be ready within 48 hours. New arrivals who do not have a PCR test will be self-isolated for at least 7 days and will be tested locally. If you refuse to take the test, the quarantine period will extend to 14 days.

Anyone coming in from a high-risk country must stay at a government-approved quarantine facility. A COVID-19 PCR test will be done on the 5th day of quarantine. If tested negative, travelers will be allowed to leave their accommodation. If tested positive, quarantine will continue until tested negative. Hospital fees apply to anyone in quarantine.

All travelers, regardless of the country they are coming from, have to provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test completed between 24 to 72 hours prior to arrival.
