Pai: Jungle Tubing River Excursion with DJs & Foam Party

Pai: Jungle Tubing River Excursion with DJs & Foam Party

Jungle Tubing is the largest Pai tipsy tubing event by far (averaging 400+ tubers per trip!), and definitely the most action packed. More time floating the Pai River, more tipsy stops (read: bars), more DJs, more games, and without a doubt, more party! Two hours of floating - that's what we are here for right? Drift lazily down the Pai River for two hours of questionable decision-making, while taking in the northern Thailand mountain landscape. Don't forget to pre-hydrate, it will be a spicy day:) Three rowdy bars: because one is just no fun! PLUS loads of events, because that's what truly sets us apart! (see below). And remember!, bring some cash to splash because there are no ATMs in tubes floatin' down the river. Stop 1 - Revs Bar: Tipsy Level 3 Riverside sun decks, hammocks, beer pong, games, and even a slip 'n slide to launch you on your tipsy tube back into the Pai river to continue your journey:) Stop 2 - Jungle Bar: Tipsy Level 5 Bamboo bars under the trees, DJ/MC, body paint, volleyball, ping pong, games, tug 'o war, and hula hoops to show off your skillz! Stop 3 - Tube Camp: Tipsy Level OFF THE CHARTS Truly in the jungle, one of Pai's most famous DJs, a taco stand, boxing ring, football pitch, outdoor showers, and redneck swimming pools. Unlike other Pai tipsy tubing trips that only float through Pai town, Jungle Tubing floats through the stunning Pai valley south of town to truly maximize your jungle adventure!  Jungle Tubing is owned and operated by Back Trax Tours. Back Trax Tours has operated in Pai for over 20 years and is owned by father and daughter, Suki and May. Locally owned, locally operated, supporting the Pai community since 2003.

Chiang Mai: 20km Downhill Mountain Biking Challenge Suthep M

This tour offers the most scenic and popular downhill mountain bike ride in Chiang Mai. Your day kicks off with transfer from your hotel at 9:30 AM and a comprehensive safety and bike fit-out briefing. After a 45-minute drive to the top of Doi Pui Mountain, you’ll take a short test ride to get comfortable with the equipment.   Finally ready, you’ll head off towards Hill Top Coffee Plantation along a small jeep track. If you’re a beginner, your guide will help you with your downhill riding techniques. Follow the track covered by spectacularly large tree canopies to enjoy the cooler temperatures before arriving at the first resting point. Take a break and maybe try a cup of local coffee as you soak in the mountain air and views! Home to the friendly Hmong Hill Tribe People, you will witness the rural living and farming in Northern Thailand’s mountains.   The second route you will take requires your full attention, as the wild growth of the forest hugs the track. For advanced riders, there are single tracks paralleling the moderately challenging jeep route to get their technical single-track fix (advanced riders know what I'm talking about!). There will be plenty of fantastic viewpoints for rest stops and lightly mixed terrain to challenge you as your ride continues down towards Lake Huay Tueng Tao at the base of the mountain. Arriving at the lake, you’ll enjoy a dip if you like, a well-deserved meal and amazing views of the mountain that just gave you an awesome 3+ hour mountain bike descent adventure. This day with Toy was the highlight of my entire trip. He explained so much about the local peoples living in the area and took me 'off the beaten path' of this beautiful area to satisfy my interests - beyond the standard temples and waterfalls which I was already bored of. We went to the royal family's local palace where I was the only tourist and saw their small collection of local birds, deer, etc. He took me to a small 'zoo' also with no one else there to see Asiatic bears, gibbons, porcupines, all the wildlife I very much wanted to see but impossible to see any other way. The visits to the 'Karen Long Neck' village and to the Chinese village were so much richer and more interesting than the same I saw in Pai which were cheap imitations not worth going to. My advice is to not bother doing a tour of Pai and instead do this tour! And definitely ask for Toy as your guide because he will go out of his way, above and beyond what is required, to make sure you are happy.

You get exactly what you pay for and what is described (even if the title suggests otherwise)! We had a very experienced driver who spoke good English and was able to tell us a lot about the area/culture. We arrived at the Jabo viewpoint in good time and were able to enjoy the sunrise with a warm coffee. The Nam Lod cave is also highly recommended, especially the bamboo rafting (although only possible in the winter months). It was a very nice and successful half-day trip!

We loved the casual pace we went. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and took us to every place on our list. Khun Mint was an expert and an excellent driver.

Quite fun. Drinks are expensive so I would recommend to bring your own.

Very long day with amazing sightseeing and a nice and skilled driver.
