It was a great tour! Jorge was very informative and gave great insight into not only the wineries, but also the region. The three wineries chosen were great examples of different styles. I really enjoyed all of them! The only reason it got 4 out of 5 stars was I thought there would be more time to see Segovia instead of just driving through. Other than that, it was a fantastic tour!

Great day out with an exceptional guide

Guide was very knowledgable and took us to 3 very different wineries, both modern and traditional, where we received excellent tours and information, as well as tastings of 3 wines in each. Really learnt a lot about Spanish winemaking and temperanillo grape variety. The lunch stop in the village was not a highlight but really appreciated the 75 minute stop in Segovia before returning to Madrid . This activity was a little more expensive than similiar ones but seemed to offer better value. I think I chose well. .Only criticism would be that after being picked up near Atocha station we were dropped off near Plaza d'Espana - not a problem in itself but would have been helpful to know in advance for planning purposes.

A nice wine tasting day

This tour costs the most among all wine tasting group tours in Madrid, but I would say it worths. The tour we joined was a group of 12 a good group size and everything was very on time. Good time management of our guide Jorge! The meeting point is easy to find, very convenient. We were led to 3 traditional and modern wineries, some of their wines are outstanding. The underground cellar we went in was very impressive! Our guide is quite knowledgable on wine this makes sense on the whole tour. On our way back to Madrid the brief stop in Segovia was also nice. Although I been there 10 years ago, we still took lots of pic on such a wonderful sunny day . Generally speaking I would recommend this tour to any wine lovers who are going to Madrid. As most of the Spanish red wine people drink are Rioja, it is a fun exploration to Ribera Del Duero indeed.
