Celine was a most pleasant guide to spend two hours with, as she imparted her impressive knowledge of how Madrid grew from a Moorish fortress through to the Habsburg reinvention of the city. She tailored the tour to suit our interests, and she offered this in very digestible bits, tied to where we were walking in Old Madrid. She also shared what she loves about her relatively newly adopted home, so she has a perspective that reflects a true interest in the culture of Madrid but also can see it more objectively, perhaps. All in all, a very good way to spend two hours getting to know this fascinating city!
Lisa was our tour guide with a great sense of safety and awareness of all of us that followed her - she was all the way very aware of our safety and guided us well throughout the tour. Her knowledge of the city is rewarding and all you can expect :) - Lisa's friendly manner is inspirational to go on an adventure:) excellent - we have met many guides over many years and she is outstanding indeed :) well done and highly recommend this Company and staff.
Beth is a great combination of personality, humor and knowledge. Her sometimes irreverent insights gave us knowledge not always available to a visitor. Her artistic perceptions borne of her own life experience enhanced every chapter of our tour. We'll never forget the story she shared of how she and her new husband received the blessing of their marriage at La Torre de Oro (Plaza Mayor). She is a special person.
Our guide Irene was first class. Very knowledgable and eloquent with her information. Group size was 15, so not too large. Palace itself is very opulent and well worth the visit. Only down side was we got caught up behind large group of Japanese visitors, so entry through security was a bit slow. Would definitely recommend.
Marc did a very great tour with us and answered all of our questions, even the ones that weren´t about the spanish inquisition. You get a very good view over the city and especially the inquisition. Just do the tour, even thought there was no food. (aks him about this), you won´t regret it.
