What to Expect
Enjoy the sights of Madrid as you cycle through the city, enjoying the freedom and convenience of traveling by bike. This 3-hour excursion takes in all of the city's major landmarks.
The tour begins at the steps of Madrid's famous Templo de Debod. This is actually one of the few Egyptian temples found outside Egypt today. From here you'll cycle past the Royal Palace, and continue on to the Cathedral of La Almudena, Plaza de la Villa, and the San Miguel Market en route to the city’s main square - Plaza Mayor.
After visiting the Plaza, cycle through some of the city's traffic-free zones to the Plaza de Santa Ana, then down to the Prado Museum. Afterward, climb up a gentle hill to arrive at Retiro Park. Enjoy its lovely gardens and ponds while taking a break and purchasing refreshments.
Leaving the park by the imposing Alcala Gate, the tour continues toward Calle Serrano and Plaza de Colon. Wind your way through the lively streets, past the boutiques and cafés of the Chueca district, to Calle Fuencarral and then Plaza de España.
