Great tour. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Although there was a great deal of building work going on, it was fantastic to see the video presentation showing what the stadium will become - the best sporting venue in the world. The technology and innovation that will used was breathtaking - a pitch that can be interchanged with tennis court, event space, basketball court - fab.

This was an essential part of the holiday for us as a family with two football mad sons; 10 and 14. We paid the equivalent of £80 I think, which was fair. Although the app clearly states that there was no guide, I must have missed that, probably because I’d booked the ‘English tour’. It was a chance to walk round, as part of a large group, sit in the seats in the stand, see the building work, look at the trophy room and then gift shop. We are glad we went. It was certainly a money making mission in our opinion, and we paid €30 for a photo with each of our sons touching a trophy - but they’re delighted with them. We intended to but them each a footy shirt but at €175 each we declined. I’d advise you to make sure you’ve been to the toilet before visiting (although there are some at the end of the tour) take water with you. Book early in the day while it’s cooler if visiting in August.
