I was amazed at the Prado. Such a fantastic collection of art! The entrance was quick as I got the ticket in advance and didn’t have to wait on line to buy one and then again the line to get in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Went immediately to the Room with Bosch’s “Garden of Earthly Delights,” one of my favorites and several other’s in the collection. I wandered from room to room for the next 4 hours seeing one masterpiece after another. Rooms of Velázquez and Goya pieces as well as lesser known artists. If you are in Madrid, a visit here is a must. A highlight of my time traveling through Portugal and Spain. The staff is very vigilant about not allowing photography, especially the Bosch paintings! 😀😀
Amazing experience. I sat in the gallery for a total of 2 hours except the tour..
