  2. Consider booking tickets in advance: Popular museums and exhibitions in Madrid can get busy.
  3. Carry cash: Some smaller establishments prefer to take cash, and tipping is not part of the culture, though rounding up to 1-2 euros is fine for excellent service.
  4. Brush up on your Spanish: Madrileños are friendly, but don’t expect everyone to speak English. Learning even a few words or phrases will make navigating the city easier.

This tour was excellent. Javier was an excellent tour guide. We met him and he took us straight to the entrance where we were able to enter straight away. After the tour finished as I was leaving I heard security at the entrance telling the line up that it was a 3 hour wait to get in. This hour allows you to enter at your tour time which takes away all the hassle of lining up plus the guide is excellent and you can ask questions. Javier knew all the answers to all the questions asked. I would give more stars if I could.

Tour guide was late but she made up for by extending our tour. She was knowledgeable and put artworks in today’s setting. Artworks discussed flowed. I recommend this tour.

They were very punctual and gave detailed information about historical places. The explanation was made in 2 languages.

The show was wonderful. The performers are great and passionate. I enjoyed it a lot!

Amazing, definitely do it! You might even make a friend or two!
