If conditions allows (behaviour of the animals and good sea conditions) we might offer you the possibility to enter the water with the dolphins when we encounter: - Common dolphins or Spotted Dolphins and If no dolphins or whales are spotted during the tour, you will have the possibility of another free tour, or in case of unavailability due to weather conditions, a free trip voucher valid for 2 years. Advantages of a Speed boat tour: Fewer people than a catamaran trip (+100), this is an intimate and familiar tour that takes a maximum of 12 persons. Powerful engines ensure that you can cover larger distances quickly, therefore giving you more chances to see multiple groups of whales or dolphins. The tour departs from the new marina of Funchal. Meet your guide directly at the speed boat, in front of door 4, the last one on the left looking at the sea. You can park your car at the Almirante Reis parking lot (not the Marina Park which is private) just a few minutes from the boat departure. The Google Maps point provided is the best way to get to the boat. Keep in mind that the meeting time is 20 minutes before the departure. Incredibile esperienza in cui abbiamo potuto avvistare delle balenottere (a tre metri dalla barca!!!) e nuotare accanto ai dei delfini trascinati dal motoscafo! Bellissimo quanto il tour sia improntato sul rispetto della tranquillità degli animali, ogni passaggio è fatto con la massima cura per non disturbarne la quiete! Grazie a tutto lo staff!!!

Es war sehr schön. Allein die Bootsfahrt hat schon Spaß gemacht. Wir haben sehr viele Pilotwale und große Tümmlerdelfine gesehen. Leider haben wir keine anderen Delfine gefunden, mit denen man ins Wasser gesurft hätte. Es hat sich dennoch gelohnt. Ich war Ende Dezember dort.

Madeira erlaubt mit einer Gruppe von Delfinen 10 Minuten Kontakt zu haben. In der Zeit müssen alle, die schnorcheln wollen, ins Wasser. Es dürfen vier gleichzeitig, die sich im Wasser liegend an Seilen, die am Boot befestigt sind, ins Wasser begeben. Man hat also nicht sooo viel Zeit. Ich finde die Regelung aber dennoch sehr gut und auch, dass sie umgesetzt wird. Denn es geht hier um das Wohl der Tiere und das wird wirklich groß geschrieben. Wir haben auf der Tour auch noch Pottwale mit Baby gesehen. Und das im Dezember. Es wurde auch nach weiteren Delfingruppen gesucht, wir hatten da aber leider kein Glück. Es war dennoch ein großartiges Erlebnis. Für Menschen mit Seekrankheit (wie ich), das kleine Boot ist im Stillstand wirklich den Wellen ausgeliefert. Mir war höllisch schlecht. Ich würde es dennoch nochmal machen, wenn ich nochmal da sein sollte. Neoprenanzüge wurden kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Biologin, die uns begleitet hat, war sehr nett und hat alles gut erklärt.
