What an experience! I cannot thank Abílio enough for his knowledge and calm nature. Starts with a tour of the aquarium and all the species of fish and crustaceans. Also, how the water is filtered and they keep the animals happy behind the scenes. We had experience diving before, so went in the tank straight away but you can get a feel for the equipment and find your balance in the natural pools before the tank if necessary. Abílio's english was perfect and explained everything really well. Such a special birthday present. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Madeira!
Abilio Sousa was outstanding!He’s playfully genuine, extremely knowledgeable and highly trustworthy in his scuba diving craft. His knowledge about Madeira, the aquatic plants and animals is top notch and rich with history. He provided a lively, focused and exceptionally rewarding first ever scuba diving experience for my family (myself, daughter and grandma) to enjoy and remember. Abilio went above and beyond to ensure our experience felt safe, comfortable and fun. We highly recommend him to any individual or family (even if you’re a bit frightened) !!!
