Driver was a chill guy and brought us to the Areiro parking for a nice price. The drive is very scenic and beautiful, passing through rainforest and Santana which the driver can talk a lot about as a true local.

Booked this transfer to get back to our car in Pico de Areiro after doing the hike one way. Was €55 for 2 people which seems on par with taxis. Comfortable minibus that fits 8 people including driver. It is a little stressful trying to make sure you complete the hike in time and I would suggest leaving yourself an extra hour or two as it can take longer than you think! The company was good and messaged us throughout to check on our ETA. Understandably they said it’s difficult to wait but luckily we made it on time in the end.
