Our guide, Len, was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He was friendly and sociable and we enjoyed the 2 hours spent with him very much indeed. They only ever have a small group and on this particular day there were just the two of us ( it was the 12 o'clock tour so maybe everyone else was having lunch).
Alexandra was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, and told us many interesting facts about the history of Funchal / Madeira. The tour was 90 minutes and we had time to explore individual sites (churches etc).
