Next, we find ourselves drawn to the refreshing embrace of Porto Moniz, where we find the popular natural sea pools with the black volcanic rocks. Here, the rhythm of the ocean lulls us into a state of pure relaxation, while hidden coves promise moments of solitude and serenity. Our journey continues to Seixal, where the allure of a black sand beach and cascading waterfalls await. it's in Ribeira da Janela that we find true enchantment, as we stand in awe of a rock formation that seems to defy gravity, rising majestically from the sea. Our quest reaches its crescendo in Fanal Park, It seems straight out of a storybook. Walk among (hopefully misty) strangely shaped trees and keep your eyes peeled for the famous cows that sometimes appear out of nowhere in the mystical mist.   And what better way to toast our adventures than with a sip of poncha, the island's signature drink?
