Our guides Luigi and Naya were great! Very patient, funny, and we felt safe. We are not super athletic and still had an amazing time. There is a little bit of swimming involved, no more than a few feet from the base of the waterfalls to land. They took a ton of photos and emailed us the files the next morning! Thanks for a great experience!

Full description

Discover why Madeira island is one of the top five places in the world for canyoning on this canyoning adventure tour. Rappel down waterfalls and experience the area’s natural splendor.

 

Head up to the mountains where you will receive your canyoning gear. After being decked out in gear, it will be time for a small hike through some of the most impressive nature that Madeira has to offer. Rappel down sparkling waterfalls, where the mountain spring waters are always flowing. 

 

Swim in the natural swimming pools along the canyons. In some of the canyons you may also have the opportunity to slide down natural water slides.

 

Once the activity ends, change back into your dry clothes and return to your accommodation.

Meet at 9:30AM at the CR7 Museum/Hotel Entrance. A van identified with the EPIC Madeira Logo will pick you up and/or the guides will be identified by EPIC T-shirts. If you have your own transportation, the provider will send you the coordinates of the canyoning meeting point, with free parking (for this meeting point the meeting time is at 10 AM).
