Hike with amazing landscapes 😍 It can get quite muddy and slippery, so good walking shoes are a must. This hike is a back and forth hike, but there’s a possibility to return by speedboat (€15-€25) if the sea allows it. Our guide Sarah and driver Nono were amazing, we had a really good chat and everyone in the group felt appreciated. We also got the right amount of explanation about the fauna, flora and geology of the place. There’s also the possibility to go for a swim during lunch break, so be sure to pack a swimsuit. I really recommend Lido Tours for their amazing sense of organization: they contact you in advance to give you a pickup time and location, message you a reminder the day before, always stop somewhere to go to the bathroom and buy lunch or grab a coffee before and after the hike and are okay to pick people up out of Funchal. They’re the best 🫶🏻
