The pickup was early, at about 7am. This allowed us to get to the trail nice and early (one of the first) before everyone else, especially the big tour buses arrive. We had communication through WhatsApp before the trip where information we shared like the walk map with info, weather forecast, pickup info and just an opportunity to ask any questions. Our trip was almost cancelled due to the weather but we were cleared to go ahead. We were picked up on time and got to the trail early. The guide explained the route of the walk and gave 5 hours to leisurely complete the 25 falls and the Risco walks as well have a snack/drink at the café. If everyone finished early, we had an opportunity to get picked up earlier as we had the contract information. We got some checking in messages through the walk as well. There is also an option to get a 3€ minibus from café area back up to the meetup place for who doesn't want to walk. We did a slightly extended route back to Funchal to see the coastline.

Great experience, the self guided hike meant could explore at own pace. Logan organised everything, sent us all the information prior to journey which was super helpful especially regarding weather conditions, and kept us updated during the experience (plus she would check in to make sure everything was ok). Our driver Filipe was fantastic, he was extremelly knowledgeable, we loved his energy and recommendations on places to go during our stay in madeira.

Couldn’t recommend this activity enough! Filipe was a great driver giving us lots of information about the island and recommendations, he made sure we got to the walk early before the rush of people would get there and he even took us to the skywalk on the way home! I liked the self guided aspect of the activity aswell as me and my partner were able to take it at our own pace and enjoy the stunning views overall great experience

Tour was amazing. We got to hit all the major sights on the west and north side of the island and Justin was incredibly accommodating to our groups needs as we had an 80 year old with us. He was super knowledgable about the island and a great person to talk to in general. Would highly recommend.

Great tour, nice guide, Land Rover in good condition - again immediately :-)
