Circuit 2 at Machu Picchu is a recommended route to explore the Incan citadel and take in its breathtaking views. This circuit includes key highlights such as: - Temple of the Sun: A sacred site featuring impressive structures and intricately carved stone windows. - Intihuatana: The famed "hitching post of the sun," is believed to have served as an astronomical altar. (only until 10 am) - Agricultural Sector: Terraced fields that showcase the ingenious agricultural practices of the Incas. - Machu Picchu Lookout: A vantage point offering a panoramic view of the citadel, perfect for photographs.
