Great Machu Picchu, it's my second time after 30 years and I loved it The guide Andrés who is upstairs at the entrance is fabulous, explains well and takes incredible photos! Ask for Andrés and they tell him that Sandra the Chilean recommended him! It's one of the best I've ever seen

So first of all you have to know that it was an expensive experience, since the ticket also includes bus costs + train tickets if you travel from Cusco (approx. 150 euros plus ticket). Nevertheless, it was a very unique experience and the scenery is really impressive. We had the 1st slot (entry at 6 a.m.) and we were actually able to take photos with an almost deserted ruin. We have found that you can see everything far away from your assigned route (except for specific entrances to the individual mountains, where the additional tickets are checked), you don't need to book a guide, we were able to do everything on our own. If you want, you can book a guide down in town or up at Machu Picchu if you want.

Machu Picchu remains an incredibly beautiful site. If you are lucky like me you will have the sun! The photos are worthy of a postcard. Attention, the site does not say it enough. I took my ticket for machu picchu and picchu mountain. Physical hike because 1900 steps to cross and especially children are not advised. It remains only my point of view but the hike is done on the side of the mountain. No security barriers. Otherwise for the brave, the view from the top is truly incredible. The pleasure is worth the pain. I hope my review will help you on your journey.
